The Standard, Marine Corps Inspired T-Shirt

On 10 November 1775, the Second Continental Congress resolved to raise two battalions of Marines - meeting at Tun Tavern in Philadelphia to do it. That date marks the official founding of the Continental Marines, the direct ancestor of today's United States Marine Corps, making every November 10th the Corps' birthday and one of the oldest continuously observed traditions in the American military. This shirt carries that date front and back: crossed muskets, a Revolutionary-era tricorn hat, and a 1775 powder keg beneath a weathered flag, with the line that says it plainly - The Standard Was Set.
