Celtic Cross INRI T-Shirt
Above the cross at Calvary hung a sign in three languages: INRI-Iesus Nazarenus, Rex Iudaeorum. "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews." It was meant as mockery. It became a declaration of faith carried for two thousand years.
This shirt pairs that inscription with the Celtic cross-a weathered stone cross bound by a ring, carried by nails, worn on the back like something excavated rather than printed. The INRI mark sits small and distressed over the heart up front.
